The Department of Humanities was established according to order No. 77 of August 27, 2016 as part of NEI “Medical-Social College of Dushanbe”, and has been rapidly growing since then. The first head of the department was a teacher of special disciplines: Muminov Bakhtiyor Tabarovich from the beginning of her activity until September 2020. In September 2020, after the creation of the Non-governmental Educational Institution “Medical- Social Institute of Tajikistan”, Department of Humanities became the Department of Institute and College. According to the order of the Rector of Institute No. 04-26 dated January 26, 2022, Department was renamed the “Department of Social Disciplines”.
